Following the release of Ultraman (Lippia) in the 'Jumbo Soft Vinyl Figure' series by Japanese model maker PLEX, today they have once again announced the latest product from the movie 'Shin Ultraman', "Zoffy", slated for release in April 2023.
Ultraman Zoffy, as he appears in 'Shin Ultraman', possesses a black and gold body reminiscent of the fourth Ultraman, 'NEXT', designed by the late Toru Narita. His personality and stance are also distinctly different from Zoffy's previous appearances in the Ultraman series. In this film, Zoffy is the observer and arbiter who comes to Earth from the Land of Light to replace Ultraman (Lippia) after the latter broke a taboo by merging with a human. He harbors no emotions for any race, strictly upholds the rules of the Land of Light to maintain cosmic order, and unilaterally deems Earth's humanity a threat, even going so far as to activate the "Celestial Suppression Final Weapon Zetton" to destroy humanity.
The "Jumbo Soft Vinyl Figure Zoffy" boasts an impressive height of 60 cm. Based on the CG model used in the film, it meticulously recreates details such as the asymmetrical twin eyes on the head and the grooved design on the soles of the feet. It is finished with a mysterious black color scheme, exuding a powerful presence. Furthermore, ordering this product through PREMIUM BANDAI will grant a limited bonus "Acrylic Character Nameplate".
