MECHA SMILE, the mechanical-themed brand under Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY, has announced that its robot combining model series "THE GATTAI" will reveal the latest product information from the classic robot anime "The Brave Express Might Gaine" at the new product announcement event 'Smile Fest 2023', to be held on January 14-15, 2023!
"The Brave Express Might Gaine" is the fourth installment in the Brave Series, released by Sunrise in 1993. The story is set 50 years after oil depletion, in an era where the world is connected by electrified railways. The protagonist, Might Senpuuji, is the young president of the "Senpuuji Group," a global economic hub known as the Railway King. He inherited the will of his father, Asahi Senpuuji, and established the stateless rescue team "Brave Express Might Gaine," utilizing giant robots equipped with super AI, such as Might Gaine, to combat evil forces.
MECHA SMILE previously exhibited three new "The Brave Express Might Gaine" products—Might Gaine, Great Might Gaine, and Might Gunner—at 'Smile Fest 2022', held in early 2022. Among them, Might Gaine already had a painted prototype, with development nearing completion. Great Might Gaine and Might Gunner, however, were only displayed as unpainted gray prototypes. We wonder what new information 'Smile Fest 2023' will bring this year?
