Located in Asakusa, Tokyo, Yoshitoku is a long-established Japanese doll maker with a 300-year history, specializing in producing Hina dolls for Hinamatsuri (Girls' Day), Musha dolls (Gogatsu Ningyo) for Children's Day, and various other dolls that showcase traditional Japanese culture. Its corporate slogan is "The life of a doll is in its face (人形は顔がいのち)," emphasizing not only the production of high-quality kimonos or armor but also the meticulous attention and soul poured into the dolls' faces.
The Yoshitoku × F:NEX "All Humanity Rabbitification - Usada Pekora - Japanese Doll - 1/4 Scale Figure" stands approximately 48 cm tall. Upholding Yoshitoku's spirit, it faithfully recreates Pekora's adorable white rabbit ears, her unique light blue hair mixed with white, and the carrot tucked into her braided ponytail. The natural skin tone, rosy cheeks, and sparkling large eyes are delicately sculpted, capturing her sweet, radiant smile beautifully!
The exquisite costume is crafted by "Shochiku Costume," a long-established store specializing in Kabuki and traditional Japanese performance attire. It features a single-sleeved kimono design, revealing Pekora's fair shoulders and arms. The opulent traditional floral patterns in pink and blue hues, combined with gold threads, exude nobility and elegance. The delicate hair ornaments, handmade using traditional Japanese craft "Ichirindo," the paper fan in her hand, the wild rabbit white fur shawl on her shoulder, the tabi socks and geta sandals, and even the tail on her backside, all incorporate Pekora's rabbit-style design. While shimmering with a lustrous sheen, they also showcase the beauty of traditional Japanese craftsmanship, making one unable to resist letting out a satisfied "HA ↘ HA ↗ HA ↘ HA ↗" laugh.
