BANDAI's GASHAPON capsule toy division in Japan is set to release a new product line based on "Cardcaptor Sakura," the "Release the Seal Collection" capsule toys. There will be a total of four types, with a reference price of 400 JPY per capsule, scheduled for release in late January 2023.
The magical girl manga "Cardcaptor Sakura (カードキャプターさくら)," created by Japanese manga artist group CLAMP, tells the story of a girl named Sakura Kinomoto who accidentally released the sealed Clow Cards. To prevent these powerful magical cards from causing mischief in the human world, the guardian beast Keroberos entrusted her with the Sealing Wand. Becoming a Cardcaptor, Sakura began her daily adventure of finding and sealing Clow Cards.
The "GASHAPON Cardcaptor Sakura: Release the Seal Collection" capsule toy faithfully recreates Sakura's magic wands and card binders in miniature size. The collection includes: the Sealing Wand, the Star Wand, the Dream Wand, and the Sealing Card Book (with a Wind Card). In addition to exquisite painting and delicate sculpting, there are clever design touches in the details, such as a magnet at the tip of the Sealing Wand and the rotatable star on the Star Wand. The Sealing Card Book even features a movable design that allows cards to be stored inside!
