Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA) and illustrator Morikura En's collaborative everyday bishoujo plastic model kit series 'Sousai Shojo Teien' recently announced new information on two brand new characters, 'Seira Ichijo' and 'Rui Saotome', and also confirmed the commercialization of the previously announced fourth character, 'Ema Koishikawa'.
'Sousai Shojo Teien' is a new 1/10 scale plastic model kit product developed by Kotobukiya in collaboration with popular Japanese illustrator Morikura En. Featuring ordinary yet distinctive high school girls as its theme, it highlights five key characteristics: creation, painting, decoration, swapping, and collecting. Users can utilize different hair parts, expressions, accessories, and even specialized parts corresponding to various poses to create their favorite female characters. Furthermore, by adding separately sold 'AFTER SCHOOL' diorama parts, a wide array of scenes can be set up, such as dining at a fast-food restaurant or studying at a desk!
The commercialized character, Ema Koishikawa, is a petite and adorable girl, standing at only 140 cm tall, but she becomes quite displeased when praised for being 'petite and adorable'. Her personality is moody and quite conceited; she is a 'super sensitive princess' who is not very good at socializing. Ema loves games, anime, tokusatsu, and due to her small stature, she greatly admires huge and cool things like monsters and robots. She dreams of becoming an excellent illustrator known as a 'divine artist'. The product prototype is currently under development and has not yet been revealed.
The new character, Seira Ichijo, is a cheerleader who wants to cheer on others when she sees them working hard, and a 'mom-type gal' who loves to take care of her friends like Ema and Rui. She has a cheerful and outgoing personality, a strong sense of justice, and can be quite formidable when angered. Her goal is to become a stylist who makes protagonists shine even brighter, much like the Fairy Godmother in 'Cinderella'.
With her dazzling appearance and demeanor, Rui Saotome is a 'prince-type' girl who captivates both boys and girls. Her personality is consistent and straightforward; she speaks her mind and possesses a delicate sensitivity that allows her to easily observe subtle changes. Rui has loved cute things since childhood and often collects various adorable items when traveling. As a member of the swimming club, her athletic abilities are outstanding, but she's not very good at studying or kissing scenes in movies. After coincidentally meeting Ema, she became deeply fascinated by Ema's unwavering pursuit of her dreams.
