Medicos Entertainment's highly popular "Super Action Statue" series in Japan will release "Super Action Statue Stone Ocean Jotaro Kujo," based on "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean." The suggested retail price is 8,800 JPY, with an anticipated release in September 2023!
Jotaro Kujo, the protagonist of JoJo's Part 3 "Stardust Crusaders," reappears in "Stone Ocean" as Jolyne Cujoh's father. He comes to the state prison "Green Dolphin Street Prison" for his daughter, who was falsely imprisoned. However, while saving Jolyne, he is ambushed by Whitesnake, and his memories and Stand are stolen in the form of DISCs, leaving him in a vegetative state.
The "Super Action Statue Stone Ocean Jotaro Kujo" articulated figure stands approximately 17 cm tall, faithfully recreating Jotaro's flamboyant and stylish outfit from "Stone Ocean." Details such as the snake-skin-like texture and patterns on his pants, the metal chain on his collar, and the "JOJO" lettering on his jacket are meticulously reproduced. The figure includes expression parts: a sharp "normal face," a powerful "Ora Ora face," and the shocking "DISC face" from the series, allowing for the recreation of that fatal blow scene!
Additionally, it comes with multiple interchangeable hand parts and a "punching effect" representing the heavy blows delivered by his Stand, Star Platinum. This allows for recreating his iconic hands-in-pockets pose, the scene where he reunites with Jolyne in prison, and various intense battle scenes!
