GASHAPON, the capsule toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., is set to release the first-ever capsule toy product for the Japanese tokusatsu series "Spectraman" under its "HG (HIGH GRADE REAL FIGURE)" series, known for its exquisite sculpting and compact size. Titled "HG Spectraman", there will be four types available, scheduled to launch in late January 2023!
Created by veteran Japanese manga artist Daiji Kazumine, "Spectraman (スペクトルマン)" was adapted into a tokusatsu series in 1971 (Showa 46). Making its debut in the HG series of capsule toys, this collection recreates classic characters from the show at a height of approximately 8.5 cm. It includes four types: the protagonist Spectraman, Earthquake Monster, Gekinozauros, and the genius monster Nooman. With precise sculpting and painting, each figure captures the distinctive costumes, dynamic actions, and poses of the monsters, making this an absolutely essential classic for any collector!
