Bandai Spirits' popular soft vinyl toy series "MOVIE MONSTER" recently announced four new products from the upcoming film "Shin Kamen Rider." "Kamen Rider" and "Kamen Rider No. 2" are scheduled for release on March 18th, while "Kamen Rider (Trench Coat ver.)" and "Kamen Rider No. 2 (Trench Coat ver.)" are scheduled for release on March 25th.
Scheduled for release in March 2023, the Kamen Rider 50th Anniversary commemorative work "Shin Kamen Rider" is a reinterpretation of the original "Kamen Rider" by director Hideaki Anno. Featuring talented young actors Sosuke Ikematsu as the new generation's Takeshi Hongo and Tasuku Emoto as Hayato Ichimonji, the film blends nostalgic elements with a modern style, inviting audiences to relive the partnership of Kamen Rider No. 1 and No. 2 as they battle the evil organization "Shocker" attempting to conquer the world.
The four "MOVIE MONSTER Shin Kamen Rider" products are soft vinyl pre-painted finished figures, standing approximately 17 cm tall. While they do not feature articulation, they offer excellent sculpting at a very affordable price. Aside from the head antennae being blunted for age-appropriate play safety, details such as the belt's wind turbine, the robust armor, and the cool trench coats all exhibit impressive detail and color application. Both Riders are available in two types: standard and trench coat versions!
