To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the birth of the super popular video game "Kirby's Dream Land," Japanese model maker RE-MENT is set to officially release its latest box toy product, "Kirby's Dream Land 30th Line Up! Poyo-tto Collection," on January 30, 2023. This collection invites you to explore the 30-year history of the series and collect super cute mini models of Kirby from different eras!
The Kirby series is a popular game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo, created in 1992 by game designer Masahiro Sakurai, who was then working at HAL. Over 30 years, approximately 40 game titles have been released, captivating audiences worldwide to an extent comparable to the Mario Bros., making it another flagship franchise for Nintendo. The protagonist, Kirby, has an adorable pink spherical appearance. Being incredibly gluttonous, he can not only open his mouth incredibly wide but also possesses a formidable inhaling ability, allowing him to swallow enemies and copy their powers. Although his image in each title is consistently a pink sphere, the design of his facial features has continuously evolved!
The "Kirby's Dream Land 30th Line Up! Poyo-tto Collection" features a total of 6 types of products, with each product containing 2 to 3 Kirby figures. Each Kirby's design is inspired by a different title from the series, showcasing variations in costumes, abilities, and facial features! The bases are designed to resemble side-scrolling game screens, recreating ground and star block motifs. Each set's base uses a common specification, allowing for infinite connections!
