Japan's Bandai Spirits, under its "FiguTTO (ふぃぎゅっと)" series of blind box toys that combine character figures with bath powder, is releasing the popular second volume, "FiguTTO Chainsaw Man vol.2" bath toy set, based on the anime "Chainsaw Man". There are four types in total, each priced at 605 JPY, and they are scheduled for release in mid-March 2023.
"Chainsaw Man", a dark shonen manga created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, tells the story of Denji, an extremely impoverished protagonist in a world overrun by "Devils". To repay his deceased father's massive debt, he becomes a Devil Hunter, earning money by slaying Devils, and partners with the Chainsaw Devil "Pochita" to hunt them. In an accident, Pochita sacrifices himself, merging with Denji's heart through a contract, resurrecting Denji and granting him the ability to transform into a Chainsaw Devil. This leads to Denji being recruited by the government's "Public Safety Devil Hunters Special Division".
The "FiguTTO Chainsaw Man vol.2" bath toy set features four characters: Denji, Power, Aki Hayakawa, and Makima, depicted in their everyday, non-mission-executing lives, wearing casual clothes. While not as distinctive as the back-scrubbing bath scene from the first volume, their poses and expressions are relaxed and adorable~ Each set includes an 18g packet of bath powder, allowing you to enjoy a bath while admiring the bathing Chainsaw Man characters~
