The HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company recently announced the new product "HG 1/72 Brady Fox (TYPE G)" from the 'HG Kyoukai Senki' plastic model series, scheduled for release in March 2023.
First appearing in episode 18 of the second season of the Kyoukai Senki anime, the NAX14P Brady Fox (TYPE G) is an AMAIM developed and operated by Zach Taylor, a member of the North American Alliance's Royal Guard. This unit was developed using the AI engine of the powerful drone "Ghost" and is painted in the characteristic black color of Ghost-derived machines. While its performance is superior to that of a standard Brady Fox drone, it lacks the learning capabilities of the Ghost AI. At the start of the battle, it caused protagonists like Amou to struggle, but after its movement patterns were deciphered, it was quickly countered.
The "HG 1/72 Brady Fox (TYPE G)" is a modification of the previously released Brady Fox kit. The entire molding color has been changed to a jet-black scheme, inheriting the imagery of the Ghost. However, most parts are identical to the standard Brady Fox, with only an additional right hand for holding a gun. The head cover can be swapped between manned and unmanned configurations. The laser cannon, unlike its original setting, also has its molding color changed to black, and the large shield similarly features a movable mechanism at its bottom.
