Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, under its immensely popular "Ichiban Kuji" (一番くじ) brand, where every draw wins a prize, recently announced its latest "Ultraman" themed product, "Ultraman Tiga・Dyna・Gaia -To Those Who Embrace the Light-", scheduled for release in late May 2023.
The three works "Ultraman Tiga", "Ultraman Dyna", and "Ultraman Gaia", broadcast consecutively from 1996 to 1999, are collectively known as the Heisei Trilogy or TDG Trilogy. Starting with Tiga, Tsuburaya Productions broke away from the previous "Land of Light in Nebula M78" setting, creating Ultraman suitable for both new and old generations of viewers. It not only featured an independent, brand-new world view but also incorporated new elements such as innovative designs and form changes, successfully attracting a large number of new-generation fans.
This "Ultraman Tiga・Dyna・Gaia -To Those Who Embrace the Light-" Ichiban Kuji features these three epoch-making heroes. The top prizes, A to C, are 19 cm tall character figures of Tiga, Dyna, and Gaia, respectively. They meticulously recreate the suit designs used in the show with detailed sculpting and coloring. What's most special is that the eyes, made with clear parts, are not in an illuminated state, and there is currently no detailed information on whether they contain a light-up mechanism.
Other prizes also incorporate elements from Tiga, Dyna, and Gaia's series, including the D Prize water cup, E Prize printed towel, and F Prize rubber charm. The LASTONE Prize and Double Chance Campaign feature the A Prize Tiga figure repainted with a golden glow, recreating his strongest form, "Glitter Tiga"!
