Japanese model manufacturer Sen-ti-nel's popular alloy action figure series, "RIOBOT," announced last night that the latest product from "Super Robot Wars OG," the "Shura God IALDABAOTH," is scheduled for release in October 2023. Additionally, its rival unit, the "Roaring Shura God BYLEFOL," is slated for exclusive sale at the official SEN-TI-NEL STORE.
In the game, the Shura God is a semi-biological weapon utilized by the Shura, a combat race from the alternate dimension "Shura World." They are classified into four ranks based on their abilities: Fierce-class, Roaring-class, Super-class, and Heavenly-class. Among these, only those chosen by a Shura God during a ritual are qualified to pilot a Roaring-class unit, which absorbs the pilot's Haki (life force) as its power source. While seemingly cruel, this is considered natural for the Shura, who believe in the survival of the fittest. This method also allows for a deeper connection with the Shura God, and as the pilot's spirit grows, it can trigger a significant enhancement phenomenon known as "Shinka" (Deification). Both units released this time are Roaring-class Shura Gods, piloted by Folka Albark, the protagonist of "COMPACT3," and his sworn brother and rival, Ferdinard Albark, respectively.
The "RIOBOT Shura God IALDABAOTH" is an approximately 23 cm tall action figure, crafted with various plastic and alloy parts to create its striking armor and articulated joints. It features a heavy metallic paint finish to reproduce its red armor, and its distinctive wild white "machine hair" boasts an extremely dynamic sculpt. The entire body's joint design offers a flexible range of motion, including articulated fingers and machine hair, allowing for various cool "Machine God Fist" poses. Furthermore, interchangeable hand parts can recreate the stance for its ultimate attack, the "Roaring Overlord Machine God Fist"!
Detailed product information for the "RIOBOT Shura God IALDABAOTH" is expected to be released on January 10th, while information for the limited-edition "Roaring Shura God BYLEFOL" will be unveiled soon.
