TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, today officially announced the latest product from the popular posable figure series "S.H.Figuarts", "Silence Suzuka" from "Umamusume Pretty Derby," scheduled for release in May 2023.
Silence Suzuka is a quiet Umamusume with a mysterious and ethereal aura. She is always fully focused, dedicating her time to her beloved racing, and is not adept at interacting with others. Her running speed is astonishing; she excels at maintaining a lead from start to finish, claiming the front of the pack exclusively for herself and never yielding to anyone. Her prototype comes from the racehorse of the same name, active between 1997 and 1998. Although she achieved six consecutive wins in 1998 and was considered a rising star, her body gradually became overwhelmed. Ultimately, during the Tenno Sho (Autumn) race in the same year, she suffered a comminuted fracture of her left leg and was euthanized on the same day after being deemed incurable. While the animated version of Silence Suzuka also suffers a fracture, fortunately, in this kind world, she miraculously recovers and even competes in races in the United States.
The "S.H.Figuarts Silence Suzuka" figure brings Silence Suzuka, in her adorable racing outfit, to life as a highly posable 134mm tall action figure. It meticulously recreates all her body accessories, the green and yellow lines, and her uniquely colored left and right running shoes. Not only are all body joints crafted using the long-cultivated technology of the S.H.Figuarts series, but her ears and tail also feature articulated joints, and her flowing long hair is made from a soft material to minimize interference with posability.
Accessories include a dedicated stand, 4 different interchangeable facial expressions, and 3 pairs of interchangeable hands. This allows for recreating not only her quiet and adorable appearance from the anime, focused and striving ahead of the pack, but also her cute dance poses from the mobile game's victory stage, performing famous songs like "Uma Pyoi Densetsu"!
