Following the release of Mazinger ZERO in the "Iron Saga" die-cast action figure series by Chinese toy brand CCSTOYS, today they have once again announced the latest product, "Great Mazinkaiser," which appeared in the manga sequel "Shin Mazinger ZERO vs. The Great General of Darkness," is expected to be released in Summer 2023.
This version of Great Mazinkaiser is a form evolved from the combination of the super robot Great Mazinger, independently developed by Kenzo Kabuto (son of Juzo Kabuto), and the enhanced component Scramble Dash. It activates four Photon Power Engines simultaneously to unleash its Mazin Power to the extreme. Known as the Great Emperor who surpasses the Great Hero, it possesses four stages of Mazin Power and is piloted by the highly skilled Tetsuya Tsurugi, yet it still could not withstand ZERO's unfair causality weapon.
The "Iron Saga Great Mazinkaiser" continues the design style of its predecessor, Mazinger ZERO, featuring a muscular physique reminiscent of the human body, intricately detailed internal frameworks, thrusters, heat vents, and other mechanical elements. It also incorporates a large number of modern, popular split-armor style part divisions, enriching the layering of the exterior armor and wing designs. This Great Mazinkaiser is crafted using various plastic and alloy parts, with the entire figure finished in multiple metallic paint applications for a profound sense of weight. The Pilder can replicate its transformation and combination, and the chest heat plate conceals a light-up gimmick to recreate its special move, "Great Mazin Flame."
For accessories, it includes a dedicated display stand, multiple interchangeable hand parts, two Mazinger Blades, and a Kaiser Blade measuring 30 cm in length. The arms can recreate the pose for unleashing "Great Mazinkaiser Punch" through interchangeable parts, and the knee blades can be deployed. Furthermore, there's a set of gorgeously painted special hand parts and clear effect parts to recreate the cool pose for unleashing "Thunder Break"!
