Japanese toy brand TARLIN International (ターリン・インターナショナル, formerly EPOCH Gashapon Division) will release a new shooting-type gashapon series this January: "Bottle Cap Shooter Cannon" (tentative translation, ボトルキャップシューター)!
This "Bottle Cap Shooter Cannon" from TARLIN combines carbonated drinks with cannon launchers, creating a gashapon series with a heavy mechanical aesthetic and intricate mechanical detailing. However, the colors corresponding to the three flavors – "Melon," "Grape," and "Cola" – give these shooting cannons a more toy-like appearance, with the translucent green of the melon flavor being particularly beautiful!
The series consists of six types, combining three flavors with either double-barreled or triple-barreled cannons. The high-firepower feel of the triple-barreled cannons and the sights equipped on the double-barreled cannons are quite appealing! Each model also comes with a bottle cap for play. Toy enthusiasts who enjoy painting and customizing can even repaint the shooting cannons into their own unique styles. I really want to try playing with these!
