GOOD SMILE COMPANY's popular Nendoroid series (ねんどろいど) in Japan has officially announced its latest products from the popular shooting game Cuphead: "Cuphead" and "Mugman"! This article will provide product information for "Cuphead" (カップヘッド).
Developed by Studio MDHR, the shooting game Cuphead revolves around the brothers Cuphead and Mugman, who lose their souls in a gamble with the Devil. Indebted, they are forced to obey the Devil's commands and embark on a life-or-death "debt collection" mission! This game is known for its retro cartoon-like scenes, old TV static effects, and challenging levels. Despite its incredibly fun and cute visuals, the sheer number of enemy projectiles is astonishing! Players must hone their precise dodging skills to defeat bosses and clear stages with very little health.
This three-dimensional rendition of "Cuphead" stands approximately 10 cm tall. The Nendoroid's chibi proportions are perfectly suited for him, faithfully recreating his iconic head, straw, red shorts, and other distinctive features. His head expressions include a standard look, an energetic expression, and a dramatically altered evil Cuphead demon face. Paired with various interchangeable hand and leg parts, a "Ready?" clear sheet, flames that can be combined with the demon face, and the attack effect for his classic in-game weapon, the "Peashooter," you can recreate lively and entertaining scenes. This is a must-have to collect alongside Mugman.
