The popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts", released by BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division TAMASHII NATIONS in Japan, has announced the latest product from "Ultraman Decker", "Terraphaser", scheduled for release in June 2023.
The Computer Demon "Terraphaser" is a giant humanoid weapon developed by the Earth Peace Alliance TPU to combat the cosmic floating object Sophia attacking Earth. It uses special "TR Particles" as its power source, converting these particles into energy for beam weapons and dispersing them to generate thrust during flight. Its armaments include a claw on its right arm, a TR Beam Cannon on its left arm, and its strongest special move, the "TR Particle Cannon," fired from its chest. This machine is not piloted by humans but operates using an AI system. However, the original AI lacked combat data and immediate combat capability, so it is piloted by the experienced AI "HANE2 (Hanejiro)."
The "S.H.Figuarts Computer Demon Terraphaser" is supervised by Tsuburaya Productions' LSS modeling department, faithfully recreating its in-show appearance with an articulated design standing approximately 17 cm tall. Printing technology is utilized to reproduce the triangular head, the blue lines on the upper body, and the gradient colors inside the TR Particle Cannon. Through interchangeable parts, it can recreate the extended right arm claw, as well as the head sculpt when it transforms into a destructive demon after being hijacked and controlled by Agamus!
Furthermore, the product includes BONUS accessories: the "Ultraman Dual Sword Decker Mode" and "sword-holding hands," allowing it to be combined with the separately sold "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Decker Flash Type" to recreate sword-wielding combat poses!
