Issued by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, the 'S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)' series, which sculpts from the skeletal structure to give tokusatsu heroes their original cool appearance and natural articulation, recently announced the latest product from 'Kamen Rider Kuuga', the 'Kamen Rider Kuuga Rising Dragon Form', scheduled for release in July 2023.
Kamen Rider Kuuga is the form taken by adventurer protagonist 'Yusuke Godai' after equipping the transformation belt 'Arcle' used by ancient Linto warriors in the Kurogatake ruins. He is the legendary warrior who fought against the Grongi tribe, also known by the police as 'Unidentified Life Form No. 4'. Through the 'Amadam' spirit stone embedded in the Arcle, Kuuga can transform into various forms and manipulate corresponding natural elements. This product features the enhanced form of the agile 'Dragon' form, which utilizes the element of water, namely 'Rising Dragon'.
The 'S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Kamen Rider Kuuga Rising Dragon Form' is based on the previously released Kuuga main body, with new shoulder and wrist armor, belt, and paint colors to recreate the gorgeous golden patterns emerging on the azure armor and the high-density golden sculpted details of the belt in its Rising form. The body proportions and articulation inherit the characteristics of previous Kuuga series products, capable of reproducing the physique of the action actors from the show while also featuring flexible movable joints, allowing it to be equipped with the newly produced exclusive weapon 'Rising Dragon Rod' to pose in cool battle stances!
