Hong Kong toy brand threezero's 1/6 scale articulated figure "FigZero" series has announced its first product from the hugely popular anime "Chainsaw Man", "FigZero Chainsaw Man", with a suggested retail price of 20,880 JPY, scheduled for release in Q3 2023!
The dark shonen manga "Chainsaw Man", created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, tells the story of a world overrun by "Devils". The extremely poor protagonist Denji, to pay off his deceased father's massive debt, becomes a Devil Hunter who earns money by slaying Devils, and hunts Devils in partnership with the Chainsaw Devil "Pochita". In one incident, Pochita sacrifices himself and merges with Denji's heart through a contract, allowing Denji to revive and gain the ability to transform into a Chainsaw Devil, thus catching the attention of the government's "Public Safety Devil Hunters".
The "FigZero Chainsaw Man" 1/6 scale articulated figure stands approximately 30 cm tall, with over 27 points of articulation throughout the body. The upper body sculpt is a brand new design created specifically for Denji, allowing for various poses while maintaining Denji's uniform and the incredibly wild head sculpt in his Chainsaw Man state! Sculpted by renowned sculptor Akinori Takagi, it faithfully recreates Denji's characteristic appearance and includes a battle-ready expression and a comical tongue-out expression. Furthermore, the Chainsaw Man mode head sculpt features a movable jaw and a posable tongue part!
Denji's white shirt, casual pants, and tie are all made of fabric. It comes with six interchangeable hand parts, an axe weapon, replacement arms with saw blades, and a proportionally scaled, non-articulated Pochita companion, allowing fans to recreate scenes from the series~
