Japanese toy company Good Smile Company's best-selling "Nendoroid" (ねんどろいど) toy series will release a soft vinyl figure of the villain "Krang" from the classic animated series "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" in August 2023!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can be said to be a shared memory for many born in the 60s and 70s. It began as a comic series in the US in 1984, but the most memorable version for many is likely the animated series released in 1987. In Taiwan, CTV introduced it in 1990, allowing many Taiwanese children to experience the charm of these four turtles. It also made everyone particularly familiar with Renaissance artists during history classes.

Fans of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are certainly no strangers to villains like Shredder and Krang. Krang was originally an evil warlord from Dimension X. Upon being banished, he lost his body and was forced to live as a pink brain. After arriving on Earth with the Technodrome, he partnered with Shredder and demanded that Shredder find him a body, which is how we later saw Krang merged with a giant robotic cyborg body.
This Nendoroid Krang is released as a "Nendoroid More" accessory. It stands 21 cm tall and is made of soft vinyl. As an accessory, it does not feature the articulation or interchangeable parts typical of the main Nendoroid series. However, it still perfectly captures Krang's appearance from the early animation. Just look at him embedded in the waist, operating the controls – it's quite adorable! Displaying him alongside the Nendoroid Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures truly enhances the original atmosphere!
