Japanese figure manufacturer Phat! announced the production of new scale figures from "Atelier Ryza" in summer 2022, namely "Ryza Cheongsam Ver." and "Klaudia Cheongsam Ver.". Today, the artist toridamono finally unveiled the prototypes currently undergoing color supervision, with the release date yet to be announced.
The outfits featured in this release are based on illustrations drawn by toridamono for the bonus content of "Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy". Although it's not possible for the two characters to wear these cheongsams in the game, the unique designs, stepping outside the game's worldview, still feel fresh and exciting. The high-slit design perfectly accentuates the particularly striking, voluptuous thighs depicted by toridamono, earning them immense popularity. This commercialization finally allows us to see the two characters in their cheongsam attire!
The currently unveiled prototypes for "Ryza Cheongsam Ver." and "Klaudia Cheongsam Ver." showcase the overall sculpt, faithfully reproducing Ryza's distinctive bun hairstyle and both characters' incredibly full and alluring fair thighs. The contrasting black and white cheongsams also feature new color applications and transfer printing to recreate their intricate patterns. Furthermore, Ryza and Klaudia's hands can replicate the intertwined finger pose from the original illustration. More product information will be released at a later date.
