The popular action figure series 'S.H.Figuarts' from TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., following Chainsaw Man and Power, has once again announced its latest product from the popular anime 'Chainsaw Man': the "S.H.Figuarts Katana Man". It has a suggested retail price of 7,700 JPY and is scheduled for release in July 2023!
Created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, the dark shonen manga series 'Chainsaw Man' tells the story of Denji, a young man who makes a living by hunting devils. After an unexpected rebirth, he gains the new power of 'Chainsaw' and joins the Public Safety Devil Hunters to battle various devils. The antagonist in the series, "Katana Man," is a fiend who merged with the Katana Devil, growing katanas on his head and arms after transforming. As the grandson of a yakuza boss who was a private devil hunter, he seeks revenge because his grandfather was killed by Denji; his real name is unknown, and Denji refers to him as 'Sideburns Man'.
Appearing as the third release, the "S.H.Figuarts Katana Man" action figure brings to life Sideburns Man's cool transformation into the Katana Devil. Standing approximately 16.5 cm tall, in addition to its full range of articulation, the jacket is made of a soft material, allowing for natural posing without compromising the sculpt. The sharp katanas on his head and both arms, as well as the hat emblem and buttons, are finished with a metallic paint application to enhance their texture. Furthermore, it includes a replaceable lower jaw to display him with an open mouth, allowing you to recreate intense battle scenes when displayed alongside Chainsaw Man!
