BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from its Kamen Rider Shokugan "SO-DO CHRONICLE" series, the "Kamen Rider Ouja Set," based on "Kamen Rider Ryuki," scheduled for release in July 2023.
Kamen Rider Ouja, transformed by Takeshi Asakura, is an extremely popular villain from "Kamen Rider Ryuki." Originally a heinous murderer who committed numerous acts of violence and killing for trivial reasons like irritation, he possesses an extremely brutal, sinister, and unscrupulous personality. Later, with the assistance of Shiro Kanzaki, the mastermind behind the Rider War, he escaped prison and obtained a Rider Card Deck to transform into Kamen Rider Ouja, becoming an accelerant for the Rider War. Years later, Ouja reappeared in "Kamen Rider OUTSIDERS" as Takeshi Asakura living in an alternate "world without battles." Although he performs dirty work for a city councilor, he never kills. He uses the "Infinite" Survive Card granted by Odin to transform into the "Survive Ouja," the strongest form fans have anticipated for years.
The "SO-DO CHRONICLE Kamen Rider Ouja Set" includes two articulated figures: "Kamen Rider Ouja (Blank Form)," who has lost the power of his contract monster, and "Kamen Rider Survive Ouja," the strongest form appearing in "Kamen Rider OUTSIDERS." At approximately 10 cm in size, they incorporate intricate sculpting and articulation, with the full body armor featuring rich color applications. Accessories include Survive Ouja's dedicated summoner, the "Veno Visor," in both its normal state and blade-extended state. Paired with sculpted hands holding the "Survive - Infinite" and "FINAL VENT" cards, you can recreate transformation and special move scenes!
