Japan's Bushiroad Creative company has collaborated with TV Asahi's popular program "Nani Kore Chin Hyakkei" to release the hilarious "Uncute Panda" gashapon! There are four types, each priced at 300 JPY per capsule, available from late January 2023.
The TV program "Nani Kore Chin Hyakkei" (formerly translated as "Rare Sights Appraisal Team," ナニコレ珍百景) features viewers submitting surprising and mysterious phenomena, people, or scenes from all over Japan, with program guests voting on whether they should be designated as one of Japan's "Chin Hyakkei" (Rare Sights). This "Nani Kore Chin Hyakkei Uncute Panda" gashapon collection features four panda statues that were registered as "Chin Hyakkei" on the program. Diverging from the cute and adorable image of pandas, this collection specially includes four uncute pandas: "Uncute Giant Panda, Maseyama Park, Ainan Town, Ehime Prefecture," "The Rarest Ever!? Panda Play Equipment, Kawaguchi Sports Park, Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture," "Creepy Dirty Panda," and "Panda Forced by a Bear." Each figure measures approximately 35mm, faithfully recreating their surprising appearances, and comes with a display base!
