Released by Japan's official Pokémon theme store POKEMON CENTER and produced by Japan's Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA) toy company, the "Pokémon Center Original" series will launch a new product from the game Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: the "Koraidon" non-scale PVC pre-painted figure. It is priced at 29,700 JPY and is expected to be released in early January 2024!
One of the two main legendary Pokémon featured on the covers of the game Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, "Koraidon (コライドン)" is a Dragon-type legendary Pokémon and one of the Paradise Guardians. It resembles Cyclizar but possesses a more tenacious and ferocious jaw and teeth, as well as sharp claws. It can use its powerful legs to push off the ground, generating incredibly powerful kicks. It appears to be the "Winged King" mentioned in ancient exploration records, which state that it once split the earth with its fists.
The Kotobukiya "Pokémon Center Original Series Koraidon" non-scale PVC pre-painted figure measures approximately 22 cm tall, recreating Koraidon's powerful and imposing stance! The dragon whiskers on its head, its feather-like head, and tail feature a fantastic peach-pink and purple gradient paint application. The scales and thorns on its chest, its vibrant red skin, and other details utilize different paints to create varied textures. Its mighty pose, combined with surrounding effect parts, enhances its overall presence. Furthermore, the base adopts the design of the "Scarlet Book" from the game, showcasing the game's world view!
