Released by Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s Gashapon capsule toy brand, the 'MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE' series, a "Mobile Suit Gundam" heavy equipment X ensemble capsule toy line featuring common connection points and infinite customization, today announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam 00": the "EX Gundam Virtue (TRANS-AM Color) Set", scheduled for release in June 2023.
The GN-005 Gundam Virtue is a third-generation Gundam mobile suit developed by the private armed organization Celestial Being, piloted by the Innovator Gundam Meister "Tieria Erde". This unit possesses robust and thick armor, and is equipped with several large GN Condensers and various GN Beam Weapons, capable of sweeping enemy mobile suits from the rear of the battlefield with high-firepower, wide-range GN Bazookas and GN Cannons. It can also deploy a "GN Field" to defend against beam, solid, and close-range attacks. Beneath Virtue's heavy armor, its true form, the "GN-004 Nadleeh Gundam", is hidden. Nadleeh Gundam, free from its heavy armor, possesses more agile mobility, allowing it to engage in close-quarters combat, which it was originally not proficient in. Its true value lies in its ability to activate the "Trial System" against internal organizational rebels, forcibly taking control of Gundams connected to Veda.
The product content of the "EX Gundam Virtue (TRANS-AM Color) Set" released this time is essentially the same as the regular version released in 2021, but the mobile suit's parts coloring has been replaced with the red version activated during TRANS-AM. The product includes the Gundam Virtue main body with detachable armor, and can be equipped with armaments such as GN Cannons and GN Bazookas. It also comes with a high-altitude sniper rifle for use with the separately sold Gundam Dynames, allowing for the recreation of the classic scene of precise sniping from the ground to a space target!
