Japanese sculptor Soichi Harigiri, who was selected for WONDER SHOWCASE Vol. 40 last year and recognized as a "rising star" by the executive committee of Japan's largest model exhibition, WONDER FESTIVAL, recently announced that he has acquired the one-day license for the Game of the Year, "Elden Ring". He will be releasing his latest GK model, "Starscourage Radahn," at 'Wonder Festival 2023 Winter,' held on February 12, 2023.
The popular BOSS "Starscourage Radahn" from "Elden Ring" is the most powerful among the demigods. He possesses a robust and colossal physique, skillfully wields colossal twin swords and a greatbow, and can even unleash exaggerated gravity magic to summon meteors. However, after an intense battle with the Goddess of Rot, Malenia, during the past "Shattering," he was severely afflicted by her Scarlet Rot, now reduced to a wandering husk on the battlefield. To grant Radahn a glorious warrior's end, the "Radahn Festival" is held at Redmane Castle, inviting powerful warriors from all corners to assist in sending off this revered general.
This 'Starscourage Radahn' GK model was sculpted by Soichi Harigiri using digital tools, then produced via 3D printing and resin casting. The entire GK kit is not only astonishing in size and part count, but also weighs nearly 3 kilograms. The sculpt meticulously captures the vibrant red hair inherited from his father Radagon, the intricate carvings on his golden armor, the gravity emblems on the blades of his two "Starscourage Greatswords," and the Lion Greatbow on his back, realistically depicting Radahn's battle-worn history with high-density detail.
His beloved steed, which he rides using gravity magic, is also installed beneath Radahn as a separate part, with its emaciated physique perfectly recreated.
