Following the release of the protagonist robot "Raijin-Oh" from the renowned series 《Zettai Muteki Raijin-Oh》 under Hong Kong toy brand "ACTION TOYS"'s "ES Alloy Series", the company is set to launch the ES Alloy toy product for its support unit, "Bakuryu-Oh" (バクリュウオー), in August 2023!
《Zettai Muteki Raijin-Oh》 (絶対無敵ライジンオー) was produced by SUNRISE animation and aired on TV Tokyo between 1991 and 1992. In Taiwan, it was first broadcast on TTV in 1994, notably breaking ground by directly using the original Japanese theme song for the first time. To this day, it remains a melody many fondly remember from their childhood.
▼《Zettai Muteki Raijin-Oh》 Theme Song:
The original story recounts how students of Class 3, Grade 5 at Yonosho Elementary School unexpectedly received a trust from the righteous warrior "Eldran" (エルドラン), beginning their fight against the evil (Jark) Empire from a five-dimensional world that sought to invade Earth. The robot can separate into three units: "Ken-Oh," "Hou-Oh," and "Juu-Oh," piloted respectively by the three protagonists: Jin, Asuka, and Kouji. When combined, they form Raijin-Oh. The other classmates also converted the school into a base, serving as support staff.
"Bakuryu-Oh" (バクリュウオー) is a robot form transformed from the Bakuryu Dragon (バクリュウドラゴン). Normally, it resides underground at Yonosho Elementary School. When it needs to be deployed, the entire school building unfolds, allowing it to launch. Its usual role is to support Raijin-Oh, directly controlled by the command center. Bakuryu-Oh can perform the ultimate "Chou Muteki Gattai" (Super Invincible Combination) with Raijin-Oh, where Bakuryu-Oh transforms into various block-like components that are then equipped onto Raijin-Oh's arms, legs, wings, chest, and head, among other places. This forms "God Raijin-Oh" (ゴッドライジンオー, also translated at the time as: Zettai Muteki Raijin-Oh).
This ES Alloy Bakuryu-Oh faithfully recreates its appearance in a unique SD proportion, and it can similarly transform between its robot state and Bakuryu Dragon state. To complement the ES Alloy Bakuryu-Oh, the previously released ES Alloy Raijin-Oh will also be re-released. When played together with Bakuryu-Oh, you can recreate the scene of Raijin-Oh riding on the Bakuryu Dragon.
Furthermore, using the included accessories within the Bakuryu-Oh product, Raijin-Oh can be combined with it to transform into God Raijin-Oh! (The ES Alloy Bakuryu-Oh cannot directly combine with the ES Raijin-Oh). In terms of weapons, it includes a cannon and a shield, along with interchangeable hand parts and a display stand.
