Japanese sculptor Hiroshi Imoku, active in modeling events under the circle name 'R.GLATT-CC', recently announced that he has obtained a one-day license for the popular mobile game 《Fate/Grand Order》. He will be releasing his latest [[OBJ_1951]] model kit, "Saber/Mordred", at 'Wonder Festival 2023 Winter' held on February 12, 2023.
In the 《Fate》 series, Mordred is the offspring created by King Arthur's sister, Morgan, using homunculus technology to fulfill her ambition of usurpation. Initially, she deeply respected Arthur and wished to become an excellent knight recognized by him. However, the thought that the truth of her birth would inevitably lead to denial caused Mordred to gradually fall into despair. This reverence in her heart eventually transformed into hatred, ultimately leading her to raise the banner of rebellion against King Arthur.
Hiroshi Imoku's latest [[OBJ_1951]] work this year, "Saber/Mordred", was digitally sculpted using ZBrush and then produced via resin 3D printing. Although it is a statue depicting only from the head to the thighs, it boasts a substantial height of 23 cm. It reinterprets Mordred's appearance after removing her armor with a unique personal style, featuring sharp, heroic eyes, along with a youthful, girlish face and lips appropriate for her age. The most striking aspect is the exquisitely sculpted muscle lines throughout the body, including the upper arms, chest, back, abdomen, glutes, and thighs, all rendered with highly realistic bone structure and firm muscle definition, making the piece both cool and sexy.
