Hong Kong model manufacturer FLAME TOYS' alloy movable robot series "TETSUKIKOU" today officially announced its latest product, "Alt Eisen," from "Super Robot Wars OG," scheduled for release in September 2023.
The popular original unit Alt Eisen from the "Super Robot Wars" series is a unit operated by the Earth Federation Army's ATX Team. Unlike the SRX, which heavily utilizes extraterrestrial overtechnology (EOT), this unit was developed using highly reliable Earth technology. With "overwhelming firepower for single-point breakthroughs" as its core requirement, it features heavy armor and excellent medium-to-close-range projectile armaments such as the "Square Claymore" and "Revolving Bunker." However, its poor balance requires corresponding piloting skills to fully unleash its performance. In the game series, it is primarily piloted by ATX Team acting leader Kyosuke Nanbu.
The "TETSUKIKOU Alt Eisen" reinterprets the design based on its in-game settings, adjusting the overall proportions to a modern, popular heroic physique. It further enhances high-density details such as exhaust ports, hatches, sensors, and fuselage markings, while retaining its characteristic massive, heavy armor design. A matte finish is applied to emphasize its weighty feel. The joints offer a flexible range of motion, and some parts are made of alloy, providing a substantial weight. Both visually and tactilely, one can experience the allure of this giant robot.
For its armaments, the deployment mechanism of the shoulder-mounted "Square Claymore" can be replicated, along with the deployment and articulation of the back thrusters. Accessories include shell casings and ammo belts to recreate the firing poses of the right arm's "Revolving Bunker" and the left arm's "Triple Machine Cannon." Furthermore, it includes the famous "Lion King Sword," a weapon usable by many units in the "Super Robot Wars OG" series, allowing for cool drawing and slashing poses!
