Following the release of Lancelot Albion in 2022, the robot plastic model "HG (High Grade)" series, launched by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division, today announced its latest product from "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion R2", the "HG 1/35 Guren Seiten Eight Elements", scheduled for release in May 2023.
The Type-02/F1Z Guren Seiten Eight Elements is a 9th-generation KMF developed by combining the latest technologies of the Black Knights and the Britannian Army. After the Guren Flight-Type was captured by the Britannian Army, Lloyd and Cécile, intrigued by it, carried out a complete overhaul, creating the ultimate KMF whose performance surpassed that of the "Lancelot Albion". The Guren's back was replaced with a new "Energy Wing", significantly enhancing its aerial mobility and defense. The "Radiation Wave Propulsion Type Freely Movable Wired Right Arm", equipped with a radiation wave device, was further strengthened, capable of converging radiation waves into a disc-like projection or focusing them into a single point.
The "HG 1/35 Guren Seiten Eight Elements" recreates this strongest KMF in HG specifications with completely new molded parts. It utilizes a rich array of molded colors such as red, deep red, orange, clear green, black, and metallic colors, along with precise part separation, to faithfully reproduce its appearance from the show. All joints, including the triple shoulder joints and the five movable fingers of the right claw, are designed for articulation. Furthermore, it features a retractable right arm mechanism, high-mobility drive wheels on the feet, and a detachable Gefjun Blaster compartment cover on the back, allowing for a variety of flexible and dynamic poses.
For its weaponry, the signature Energy Wings are made from pink PET film, and the support arms feature a three-stage articulation mechanism. When fully deployed, the wings span 45 cm, allowing for both assault and defense poses. Additionally, the accessories include multiple metallic wires and two types of parts for the "Hien Souga" claw weapon (stored and deployed), enabling the recreation of the right arm and Hien Souga's firing states. The carried weapon, the "Type-02/B Special Slasher", not only reproduces its activated state with metallic molding but also includes an original plastic model storage state that can be mounted on the rear waist.
