The alloy model series 『AMAKUNI KISHIN』, a collaboration between HobbyJapan's model brand AMAKUNI and Sentinel, recently showcased prototypes of its latest works based on "The King of Braves Gaogaigar" series – "Hakai-Oh Genesic Gaogaigar" and "Genesic Gaogaigar Light-Up Head Display Model" – at "Wonder Festival 2023 Winter," Japan's largest model exhibition. The release date is yet to be determined.
The "AMAKUNI KISHIN Hakai-Oh Genesic Gaogaigar" is based on the previously released Genesic Gaogaigar, re-applied with flame-like gradient paintwork. This faithfully recreates the powerful form from the "Hakai-Oh" story, where its performance is greatly enhanced and it gains regenerative abilities after being corroded by the super-energy body "Triple Zero." The yellow, orange, and red gradient paintwork expresses a visual effect as if glowing from within.
The "Genesic Gaogaigar Light-Up Head Display Model" transforms Genesic Gaogaigar's head into a massive display model, approximately 28 cm tall. It not only features high-density and sharply sculpted details but also has built-in LED light-up features in the forehead, eyes, and side exhaust vents, emitting cool yellow and green light through the transparent outer casing. However, only unpainted prototypes have been revealed so far; it is sure to be even more impactful after receiving a heavy, textured metallic paint finish!
