The popular action figure "S.H.Figuarts" series, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., has once again launched a special version of the popular product "S.H.Figuarts Tokai Teio Special Edition [2nd Anniversary]" to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of the mobile game "Uma Musume Pretty Derby". It has a suggested retail price of 7,480 JPY and is scheduled for release in July 2023.
The highly popular Uma Musume, Tokai Teio (トウカイテイオー), is based on the real Japanese racehorse of the same name, known as the "Miracle Horse" in the early 1990s, whose legendary career saw her recover from three fractures to win major races again. In the series, she is an Uma Musume with exceptional talent, a cheerful and lively personality. Inspired by the student council president "Emperor" Symboli Rudolf, she aspired to compete from a young age. With unwavering confidence in her ability to win first place, her free-spirited nature makes her popular with everyone.
The biggest difference between the special version of "S.H.Figuarts Tokai Teio Special Edition [2nd Anniversary]" and the original version, S.H.Figuarts Uma Musume Tokai Teio, is that it includes a base with a hot-stamped gold logo (and the selling price), giving it a more regal and luxurious appearance when displayed. Additionally, there is a special packaging exclusively sold by 7net Japan.
