Bandai Candy's new "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT" series, evolving from the popular "SUPER MINIPLA" assembly model shokugan, will release its latest product from the passionate mecha anime "Gurren Lagann": "SMP [SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT] Gurren Lagann" shokugan. The suggested retail price is 9,240 JPY for a set, with an anticipated release in June 2023!
The abbreviation for "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT" is also SMP, with the three letters simultaneously conveying three important series characteristics: Scene reproduction, Motion (articulation), and Proportion. The series is expected to be more advanced than the previous SUPER MINIPLA series in terms of the number of molded colors, the reproduction of transformation and combination mechanisms, and the design of articulated joints.
To celebrate the anime's 15th anniversary, the popular "SMP [SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT] Gurren Lagann" assembly model shokugan is being released. At approximately 15 cm in size, it renders in 3D Simon's personal Gunmen "Lagann" and Kamina's machine "Gurren". It includes drills, shoulder armor, and multiple interchangeable hand parts, and can be assembled into three combinations: "Brotherhood Combination," "Super Combination," and "Destiny Combination"! Additionally, the Beastman Army's Enki is also included, and through interchangeable parts, it can reproduce the three forms of Enki, Enkidudu, and Enkidududu, recreating the classic battle scenes that ignite the soul of men!
