BANDAI SPIRITS' Hobby Division is scheduled to release in June 2023, the HG (High Grade) plastic model kit of the popular original unit "Gespenst"'s successor, "Gespenst Mk-II" (ゲシュペンストMk-II), from the game "Super Robot Wars OG"!
First appearing in "Super Robot Wars 4", the "Gespenst Mk-II" is also piloted by Gilliam Yeager. As the successor development model to the Gespenst, its exterior color changed from black to blue-violet. In later OG series, it further transformed into an azure blue. Its armaments are similar to the Gespenst, including multi-warhead missiles, NEO Plasma Cutter (ネオ・プラズマカッター), Slash Ripper (スラッシュリッパー), and it can also unleash a special move with a cool name like "Ultimate! Gespenst Kick" (究極！ ゲシュペンストキック).
This HG Gespenst Mk-II plastic model kit released by BANDAI SPIRITS is essentially similar in content to the previously released Gespenst, but the color scheme has been changed to a more striking azure blue. Its articulation is equally excellent, allowing for kicking poses when paired with a display stand. The weapon accessories are even richer, including two sets of Slash Rippers, two Plasma Cutters, as well as a beam rifle and a cannon, among others.
