Kaiyodo's "REVO GEO" series is overseen by chief animal sculptor "Shinobu Matsumura (松村しのぶ)" as the overall modeling director. Through meticulous observation of biological characteristics, the series creates highly biological, dynamically beautiful, and lifelike articulated creature toys. Inheriting the excellent articulation joints of Revoltech, it designs a range of motion as natural as that of a living creature! The "Japanese Carpenter Ant" released this time, also known as the Japanese Giant Ant, is one of the largest ants in the world. Queens can grow up to 18mm, while major workers are about 14mm long, characterized by a nearly triangular large head and robust mandibles. Their abdomen features silver-black patterns; they build nests underground in farmlands and forests and are known to tend aphids on the ground.
The "REVOGEO Japanese Carpenter Ant" measures approximately 115 mm in total length, exquisitely recreating the detailed sculpt and majestic appearance of the Japanese Carpenter Ant. Its entire body, including the head, abdomen, mandibles, and legs, features 18 points of articulation. The characteristic large mandibles can open and close left and right, and combined with the articulated head and thorax, various daily poses such as attacking and biting can be enjoyed.
