Following the first volume of the Godzilla Sofvi Puppet Mascot released in 2021 by Japanese anime, manga, and game merchandise manufacturer ENSKY, the company today announced the second volume, "Godzilla Sofvi Puppet Mascot 2," slated for release in July 2023.
The "SOFVI PUPPET MASCOT Soft Vinyl Finger Puppet" series utilizes soft vinyl material to create various characters as finger puppet models, approximately 45-50mm tall. Their chibi-style, low-head-to-body ratio design presents a cute aesthetic distinct from their original settings, while also featuring rich color applications to reproduce intricate details. In addition to being able to stand alone for display, each character has a circular hole at the bottom, allowing them to be worn on a finger for play.
"Godzilla Sofvi Puppet Mascot 2" once again selects 10 kaiju, mechs, and other characters from the nearly 70-year history of the "Godzilla" series' many films. While maintaining their fierce kaiju imagery, their chibi-style, low-head-to-body ratio designs also incorporate an element of cuteness.
