Released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, the posable series "NXEDGE STYLE", known for its sharp sculpting and unique proportions, today announced the latest product "Sengoku Ryujinmaru" from "Mashin Hero Wataru Gaiden: Makai Totsunyu Monogatari", slated for release in July 2023.
The artificial Mashin Sengoku Ryujinmaru, appearing in the series, is a heavily armed Mashin created by the evil Mashin blacksmith Kuwano, modeled after Ryujinmaru, and serves as the flagship unit for the Sengoku Mashin Army. Although this unit does not possess the framework of the Seven Dragon Gods of the Sacred Realm like the original, and its cockpit is of the same specification as other Mashin produced in the Demon World, its performance is in no way inferior to the original. It is equipped with powerful armaments such as the Goryuken, Nichirinken, and Gekkoken. Furthermore, because its pilot is "Kage Wataru," a clone created from Wataru Ikusabe's materialized fear, its fighting style and thought patterns are identical but more aggressive, having once defeated the genuine Ryuo-maru.
The "NXEDGE STYLE Sengoku Ryujinmaru" recreates its magnificent helmet design and Akazonae-like red armor with a highly posable, approximately 9 cm tall figure. The dragon crests on its shoulders and the military banner mounted on its back are reproduced with printing. It boasts a refined, cool appearance and flexible articulation, allowing for dynamic battle poses with its three armaments: the Goryuken, Nichirinken, and Gekkoken. Furthermore, the Nichirinken and Gekkoken can be combined to form a long spear approximately 18 cm in length!
