Released by Japan's Bandai Toy Company's GASHAPON capsule toy brand, the 'MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE' series, a 'Mobile Suit Gundam' heavy equipment x ensemble capsule toy line characterized by common connection points and infinite customization, today unveiled the in-development prototypes of new mobile suits and equipment to be included in its 25th series: 'Windam,' 'Jet Striker Pack,' and 'Multi-purpose Missile Launcher Striker Pack.' Release date is yet to be determined.

The GAT-04 Windam is the Earth Alliance Forces' next-generation main mass-produced mobile suit, developed to replace the Dagger L series after the signing of the Junius Treaty. This unit maintains the GAT system's goal of fully mass-producing the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam, and its overall performance is not far off. Compared to its predecessor, the Dagger L, the Windam features large thruster nozzles on its backpack and legs, significantly enhancing its mobility. Naturally, it also inherits compatibility with Striker Pack system equipment such as the "AQM/E-A4E1 Jet Striker Pack," giving it extremely high versatility.

The currently revealed Windam main unit continues the series' style, featuring intricate details despite its low-head-to-body ratio. It also simultaneously includes two expansion packs: the "Jet Striker Pack" and the "Multi-purpose Missile Launcher Striker Pack." Both backpacks are exceptionally substantial in size, almost pushing the limits of what a gashapon capsule can accommodate. Even the developers themselves feel that the effort invested this time far exceeds that put into mobile suits with similar backpack systems, such as the Strike Gundam and Impulse Gundam.
