BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, a Japanese company, will release the popular character "S.H.Figuarts Oguri Cap" from the "Uma Musume Pretty Derby" series as part of its popular "S.H.Figuarts" action figure line. The suggested retail price is 7,150 JPY, with an anticipated release in July 2023.
The popular Uma Musume "Oguri Cap" is a transfer student who arrived at Tracen Academy with high expectations after an unbroken winning streak in her hometown. She gives her all to support her family and can distinguish her hometown's cheers from the crowd. Normally a pure airhead, she possesses an enormous appetite capable of emptying a rice bin in an instant. Her real-life inspiration is the legendary racehorse known as the "Grey Monster," and one of the "Heisei Three Strong" alongside Super Creek and Inari One.
The "S.H.Figuarts Oguri Cap" action figure stands approximately 14 cm tall. While prioritizing articulation, it meticulously recreates her delicate design. In addition to enhanced articulation in the torso, soft materials are used for the hair and skirt, further evolving the range of motion. It comes with a rich assortment of interchangeable left and right hand parts, as well as five expression parts including a normal face, serious face, hungry face, and more, allowing for dynamic posing! Furthermore, for the first time in the series, effect parts depicting her running on the racetrack are included, enabling the recreation of highly immersive scenes.
