Hong Kong toy manufacturer Soap Studio is set to release another hilarious new addition to its wacky transforming series, based on the classic Warner Bros. cartoon "Tom and Jerry": the "Shocked Jerry" transforming figure! The suggested retail price is HKD 299, with an estimated shipping date in April 2023.
The animated series "Tom and Jerry," created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, is a classic cartoon that many watched in their childhood. The story centers on Tom and Jerry, with Tom constantly chasing, running, jumping, and engaging in mutually destructive (?) comedic antics with Jerry. Accompanied by high-quality classical and jazz music instead of dialogue, the content is conveyed solely through the soundtrack and character movements, leaving a deep impression and making it the hottest animated short series of its time.
The "Shocked Jerry" transforming figure stands approximately 9 cm tall and is crafted from polystone. It adorably recreates Jerry's exaggerated expression of extreme shock, with his jaw dropped to the floor! Jerry's hands are raised in a bewildered manner, and his bent-over posture is incredibly lively, with even his tiny tongue almost falling out of his mouth. What's even funnier is the magnetic feature designed for the eyes, allowing for interchangeable eye parts: "bulging eyes" and "heart eyes." These two expressions can be swapped to create even more amusing scenes for different scenarios!
