Japanese manufacturer RC BERG (RCベルグ), specializing in [[OBJ_1951]] production, is celebrating the grand finale of "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time." Their sculptor Ryuntaro (りゅんりゅん亭) has collaborated with an illustrator to redesign the popular 2003 work "Grimrock! Version Rei." Following "Asuka," they are once again releasing the "Evangelion Grimrock! PLUS Rei Ayanami" [[OBJ_1951]] kit in two molded color versions, beige and white, recreating her charming and unique appearance! The suggested retail price is 13,200 JPY, with an estimated release in June 2023.
Popular sculptor Kenta Kawanishi (ぐりむろっく！) created the sensational "GrimRock! Version Rei Ayanami & Asuka" kit in 2003, combining Evangelion characters with a bold swimsuit-like design plus a tail, which garnered significant fan response at the time. Now, nearly 20 years later, this classic work is being re-released with new technology and redesigned by illustrator Mojarin! The "Evangelion GrimRock! PLUS Rei" 1/8 scale [[OBJ_1951]] kit is available in two molded colors, beige and white. It features a segmented parts assembly that is easy for beginners to handle, and includes waterslide decals for the eyes, which are difficult to paint, recreating the cute yet sensually plump Rei cat-girl~
