Following the release of "Ichigo Kurosaki," TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, is once again launching a new product from the popular "S.H.Figuarts" series based on 'BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc' – the "S.H.Figuarts Renji Abarai." It is priced at 8,250 JPY and is scheduled for release in August 2023.
Japanese manga artist Tite Kubo's work, 'BLEACH,' began serialization in 'Weekly Shonen Jump' in 2001, becoming a generational trend-setting manga for JUMP. Its unique ink wash art style and poetic dialogue have garnered immense popularity among fans. To celebrate the manga's 20th anniversary, the final arc, 'Thousand-Year Blood War Arc,' was adapted into an anime, allowing fans to relive their youthful memories.
Renji Abarai, the Lieutenant of the 6th Division of the Gotei 13, is the childhood friend of the protagonist Rukia Kuchiki. Hailing from the lower districts of Rukongai, he possesses a temper as fiery as a wild dog, yet he is also a deeply caring and composed older brother figure, earning the trust of his comrades and juniors.
The "S.H.Figuarts Renji Abarai" articulated figure stands approximately 155mm tall, faithfully recreating his appearance from the 'Thousand-Year Blood War Arc,' including his distinctive bright red, spiky ponytail. Ball joints are utilized at the waist and sheath, allowing for dynamic wide-legged poses. The figure comes with a rich assortment of interchangeable face parts, ranging from cool and serious to comically surprised expressions. Paired with his massive and imposing Zanpakuto, 'Zabimaru,' fans can recreate a wide variety of scenes from the series!
