Following the popular product, "Canon/TRANSFORMERS Optimus Prime R5," a collaboration between Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY and Japanese camera giant Canon, they have once again announced the latest "Canon/TRANSFORMERS Nemesis Prime R5." The suggested retail price is 19,800 JPY, with an expected release in late October 2023.

Based on Canon's flagship full-frame mirrorless camera, the "EOS R5," announced in 2020, the "Canon/TRANSFORMERS Nemesis Prime R5" features an intricate transformation mechanism. Without any extra replacement parts or leftover components, it can fully transform from camera mode into Nemesis Prime mode! Recreated at approximately 80% scale, it highly replicates the camera's appearance. The camera body and lens can be detached just like a real camera. Although it doesn't have actual photography functions, the overall detail of the buttons and markings is astonishing!

The entire figure adopts the cool, jet-black color scheme of Optimus Prime's clone, "Nemesis Prime (also translated as Scourge)." In Transformers mode, the right shoulder features the Canon logo, while the left shoulder bears the Decepticon insignia. It also comes with an "Allspark" that can be attached to the chest lens, and a handheld EOS R5 device (mini EOS R5) that can be held in its hand. The lens cap can also be held as a shield! The entire body is designed with articulation, allowing for various poses in addition to transformation.
