From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division, the 1/144 scale Gunpla『HG (High Grade)』series, known for its vast variety of mobile suits, announced today the commercialization of the protagonist mobile suit from《Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury》, the「HG 1/144 Gundam Aerial Permet Score Six」. Pre-orders will soon open on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The XVX-016 Gundam Aerial is a GUND-ARM type mobile suit developed by Shin Sei Development Corporation on Mercury. Its development was led by President Prospera and piloted by her daughter, Suletta Mercury. Suletta has lived with the Gundam Aerial's onboard AI since childhood, considering it a member of her family. When piloted by Suletta, it can activate the extraordinary「Permet Score」. Its armaments include a beam saber, beam rifle, and shield. The shield can separate into 11「GUND-Bits」, which can be used not only as remotely controlled all-range wireless weapons,「Funnels」, but also connect to various points on the mobile suit and the beam rifle, serving as equipment to enhance mobility and firepower.
The「HG 1/144 Gundam Aerial Permet Score Six」being released this time recreates the appearance of Suletta activating「Permet Score Six」during her duel with Shaddiq in a moment of crisis. The entire model's molding color has been changed to a brighter hue, and the IMD (In-Mold Decoration) parts and stickers on the chest have been replaced with brand new blue-glow colors. Official prototypes have already been displayed at the『Witch from Mercury EXPO』, and detailed product information will be released soon.
