GOOD SMILE COMPANY, a Japanese figure manufacturer, today announced the latest product from their affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE": "Mujina" from the popular anime 《SSSS.DYNAZENON》, scheduled for release in July 2023.
Mujina, one of the members of the antagonist Kaiju Eugenics faction in this series, is also a Kaiju user who was persecuted and unjustly killed by her own country 5000 years ago. After being resurrected in the modern era, she seeks to use Kaiju to exact revenge on humanity. That being said, Mujina does not possess the strong sense of mission that her comrades do; she often approaches battles with a passive attitude and acts on her own whims. Rather than controlling Kaiju, she prefers to enjoy a drink to unwind and have fun with friends. She once tried to find validation in Koyomi Yamanaka, who was similar to her, but instead came to realize that she was merely a Kaiju user.
The "POP UP PARADE Mujina" figure brings to life Mujina in her Kaiju user uniform, striking the "Instance Domination" pose she uses when controlling Kaiju. Standing approximately 17 cm tall, the figure beautifully captures her facial features, short hairstyle, and the voluptuous physique characterized by her chest and thighs. While there aren't many intricate clothing wrinkles or shadow paint applications, and the shoulder tassel design is a bit stiff, fortunately, the essential gold paint on her outfit has not been omitted. Best of all, you can bring home the beautiful Mujina for the very affordable price of 4,800 JPY!
