Highly anticipated by many old-school toy collectors, the new LEGO Indiana Jones series was finally fully unveiled yesterday (13th)! This article will bring you product information for the set from Raiders of the Lost Ark, numbered 77013, "Escape from the Lost Tomb" (tentative translation).
This set contains a total of 600 pieces. It is designed based on the Well of the Souls scene from the middle-to-late part of Raiders of the Lost Ark, where the Ark of the Covenant is hidden, and incorporates rich in-movie elements and clever mechanisms. These include a collapsing giant statue, another space that appears after a wall collapses, snakes covering the floor and small holes in the wall from which snakes can pour out, and a mummy that can be flipped out. Although the piece count is not high and the exterior completeness is average, it is definitely quite interesting for fans of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Based on the current official images, this small diorama, which measures 16 cm high and 22 cm long when assembled, may include a large number of stickers.
Minifigures include Indiana Jones, the heroine Marion, Indy's friend Sallah, and a mummy wrapped in tattered bandages.
