Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya today announced its latest product, "Qpmini Innocentia," from the popular mecha girl plastic model kit "Frame Arms Girl" series, scheduled for release in August 2023.
The new "Qpmini" series is a plastic model kit product featuring a Q-version design with approximately a 2.5 head-to-body ratio. Its name inherits from Kotobukiya's long-discontinued articulated figure "Cu-poche" series. However, the entire body uses a newly designed base body, and the size has been significantly miniaturized. Compared to regular Frame Arms Girl products, which are about 15 cm tall, Qpmini is only nearly 7 cm tall. Yet, the overall detail density is the same as regular Frame Arms Girl products, and it boasts over 20 points of articulation, allowing for a variety of poses.
"Qpmini Innocentia" is based on the design data of the regular Innocentia, with modifications. It features the same high-density details and exquisite sculpting, but its body proportion has been modified to an ultra-cute 2.5 head-to-body ratio. This mini body, less than 7 cm tall, boasts 26 points of articulation. Accessories include two newly produced pre-painted face parts: a normal face and a crying face. Also included are two unpainted face parts that can be customized with the included water-slide decals. Their specifications are the same as regular FAG series products, allowing for interchangeable use.
The sculpted hand parts include open hands, clenched fists, and weapon-holding hands. These can be combined with the included weapon grips and 2mm hole to 3mm peg conversion parts to equip separately sold M.S.G weapons and other products. A dedicated mini base for the Qpmini series is also included. The stand also features an articulated design that can be adjusted according to display needs.
