Queen Studios, a sculpting brand adept at showcasing character charm and recreating realistic details with large-scale statues, will launch its first product based on SNK's popular game The King of Fighters '97: the Mai Shiranui 1:1 Life-Size Bust! Limited to 300 units worldwide, it is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2024.
Mai Shiranui (しらぬい まい Shiranui Mai) is an active female character in SNK's Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters game series. Her grandfather, Hanzo Shiranui, is a master of Shiranui-ryu Ninjutsu, and she herself is an excellent female fighter. Possessing an impressive bust, she uses fans and flames as weapons, with a fighting philosophy of "Dance like a butterfly, sting like a bee." In the game, her iconic swaying posture has left a deep impression on players, making her a signature and popular character in the series!
This 1:1 Life-Size Bust of Mai Shiranui from Queen Studios stands at an impressive 74 cm tall. Based on the character's design in The King of Fighters '97, it faithfully recreates her classic red and white ninja attire, with her fiery and alluring cleavage fully on display! The head sculpt is crafted from premium silicone, recreating realistic skin texture and natural flushed tones, depicting delicate and sweet facial features; ultra-realistic glass eyeballs are embedded, giving her gaze a vibrant and lively quality, while the eyelashes and hair are meticulously rooted strand by strand, bringing her to life!
A special note for discerning collectors: although it is only a bust, the mouth is not designed to be openable.
The costume is made from real fabric, with meticulous attention paid to tailoring and pleats, making her impressive bust appear to emerge vividly. The lines of her physique, including her collarbones, shoulders, and armpits, are all realistically rendered! Current information does not mention the clothing being removable, but judging from the shape and overall design, the possibility cannot be ruled out.
The base incorporates classic Japanese architectural elements, reflecting Mai Shiranui's character background, and is enveloped by iconic flame elements, creating a strong visual impact.
